Delete your account
Leaving, and taking your data with you.
You can ask for your Domio account and the personal information attached to it to be deleted at any time. This page explains what is removed, what your society is allowed to keep, and the two ways to ask.
Last updated 13 September 2026
What gets deleted
- Your login: email, phone number and password.
- Your name on your flat, your family members, domestic help and vehicles.
- Your device sessions, app preferences and the fingerprint-lock setting.
- Photos you attached to complaints.
- Anything you sent through this website's forms.
What a society may keep
Your society is required by law to keep its accounts. Bills raised to your flat and payments received against them stay in the society's records, with the flat number and the date, as they would in a paper ledger. Visitor entries stay against the flat, not your name, for the security of the building. Complaints you raised stay as records of what was fixed, without your name.
How long it takes
We confirm receipt within two working days and complete the deletion within thirty days. Because your society is the controller of its own records, we pass the request to your committee where their records are involved and tell you the outcome. Backups that contain your data are overwritten within a further thirty days.
Two ways to ask
From the app
Open your profile, choose "Delete my account", and confirm. That sends the same request as this form.
From this page
Fill in the form. Use the email or phone number that is on your account so we can find it, and tell us which society you are in. We will write back to confirm before anything is removed.
Deleting your account does not cancel your society's subscription and does not stop your society from billing your flat; only the society can do that. If you are moving out, tell your society office too.
