Do residents have to install anything?

They can, and most do: the Android app is where bills get paid and visitors get approved. But every page also works in a browser, so a resident without the app still gets a payment link by email and can pay from it.

Where does the money go when a resident pays?

Straight to the society. You connect your own payment gateway account - Razorpay, PayU or others - and every rupee settles to your bank. Domio never holds society money and never takes a cut of maintenance.

Is our data kept separate from other societies?

Completely. Each society gets its own database and its own web address, such as greenpark.domioapp.in. No report, export or search can cross from one society into another.

How does the electricity meter reading work?

A small sticker with a code goes on each sub-meter. Your staff point the app at the meter; it reads the sticker and the dial digits on the phone itself, shows the flat, the tenant and the last reading, and asks them to confirm. The bill is raised the moment they do. If the dial is dirty they can type the number instead.

How long does setup take?

Usually a day. Send us your flats and residents in a spreadsheet and we load them. Your committee gets a login the same day; residents get an invitation by SMS or email.

Is there a contract?

No. Domio is billed monthly per flat and you can stop any time. There is no setup fee.

Which languages does the app support?

English and Hindi today, chosen per person. A resident who prefers Hindi sees Hindi, the accountant who prefers English sees English, on the same society.

What happens to our data if we leave?

You ask for an export and get everything - flats, residents, bills, payments, visitor records - as spreadsheets. Thirty days later the database is deleted.

Can a builder run many societies?

Yes. A builder or a management company gets one login that opens every society they run, each with its own residents, accounts and branding.

Does it work for a small society?

Twelve flats or twelve hundred. Small societies tend to start on the Starter plan and use the app mostly for bills and visitors.

Still wondering?

Ask on a call. Twenty minutes, your society.

We set up a demo society with your building names and walk your committee through a month of collections, visitors and complaints. No slides.
